GHARAYI / RIPE JACK FRUIT PAYASAM !!!!!


INGREDIENTS:-

jack fruit slices - 3 cup
powdered jaggery - 1 1/2 cup or use according to your taste
thin coconut milk - 1 1/2 cup
thick coconut milk - 1 cup
cashew nuts - 6-7 no.s
raisins - 6-7 no.s
cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
ghee - 1 1/2 tbsp
sooji  rava - 125gm

METHOD:-

1. Heat ghee in a pan & fry cashew nuts, raisins till they become light brown in colour & keep it aside.
2. Fry rava in ghee till little brown & keep it aside.
3. Then chop the jack fruit into small pieces & then cook it by adding 5 cups of water+thin coconut milk for about 20-25 mins or till they become soft.
4. Now add fried rava to this & boil it till rava cooked properly.
5. Now add powdered jaggery to this.
6. Keep it in low flame till the jaggery is fully melted & keep stirring in between.
7. Now add thick coconut milk & mix it nicely & remove from the flame after 5 mins.
8. Finally add cardamom powder,  fried cashew nuts, raisins & bring it to a boil.
