Who doesn't likes cakes now a days...that too newly introduced CHOCO LAVA CAKE (at Dominoes) is my son's most fav one. So, i tried to prepare it soooo many times. But not succeeded as i don't hav convention mode in my m/w :( One day i got this recipe from google that is from a blog DOODLES) and i really didn't believe it for the 1st time. Then i thought "let me give it a try". Finally when cake was bakes i was really worrying about the result. But when i tasted it i just wanted to shout like Archimedes (eurekaaaaaaaa :D). Yesss, this cake s very very easy to prepare and sooo yummyyyyy and it takes less time too. So, thought of sharing it with you all as this is my 1st post on cake/baking :). Here it is....
INGREDIENTS:-
butter - 3 tbl sp
sugar, powdered - 3 tbl sp
egg, whisked - 1
plain milk - 3 tbl sp
vanilla extract - a bit
all purpose flour(maida) - 4 tbl sp
baking pow - a pinch
cocoa pow - 2 tbl sp
nutella - for filling
METHOD:-
1. First, add sugar to melted butter and whisk.
2. Add the whisked egg+milk+vanilla extract.
3. Add flour+baking pow+cocoa pow and mix well.
4. Now butter the m/w safe ramekins and pour a spoon full of batter into a ramekin.
5. Now, add 1 or 2 tsp of nutella( acc to your taste) carefully. Cover it with another spoon full of batter.
6. You just need to fill the ramekin in 3/4 because the cake will expand while you put it in the m/w.
7. Repeat the same procedure for other ramekins too. (i made 5 small chocolava cakes from this batter).
8. Put it in oven and m/w it for 2 mins.
9. Remove it immediately from m/w.
10. Let it cool for some time.
11. Now unmould it carefully on a plate and dust it with sugar pow.
12. While serving put a spoon full of nutella on top of it and serve it with a spoon.(optional)
HAPPY COOKING :)))))))
and here's a tip:-
If cake batter is too thick adjust it to dosa batter consistency by adding lil milk.
